In class, you will watch some YouTube cooking channels examples. In teams, you will finish your scripts. You will perform in front of the class. Bring all the necessary to do so: your recipe, vocabulary, etc.

Homework:

- Writing "My favorite place in Mexico City" (90 words or more)
The original writing with corrections + the corrected one (typed in computer).

Quiz of verbs in past and past participle of these verbs:

Doubts of 'A Day in the Life' project.

Remember, this is your last opportunity to ask doubts about this project, because on Friday (November 4), you will bring your videos and we will watch them in class.

In fact, you will send me a copy via WeTransfer or via mail on November 2nd, so I can see that we can actually watch them. I don't want any surprises or excuses.

ANNOUNCEMENTS - Special projects: A Day in the life and Christmas Recipe

Hi, guys,

As I told you last classes, we've got two projects going on at the same time:

1. A day in the life.

First stage - Questionnaire:

DATE: October 7, 2016.

1. What do you do in the mornings?
2. What do you usually have for breakfast? / What do you usually eat?
3. How many hours do you work on a day?
4. What do you usually do on the weekends?
5. What do you do in your free time?
6. What kind of books do you like to read?
7. Do you often trael for work?
8. What time do you usually go to bed?
9. How often do you do exercise?

+ 3 more particular questions.

Second stage - Interview - Recording.

DATE: October 28, 2016.

You need to practice the questionnaire and interview the person you want to.

NOTE: The people people whose interviewees do not speak English, you'll ask one of your partners to play their role.

Remember, you have to record yourselves with your cellphones: 5 minutes - 8 minutes.
Format: .avi or mp3.

The project will consist of:

  • Introduction:
I'm here to talk to Eduardo Escobar. He is a photographer...
  • Reasons for which you admire him/her:
I admire him because I think he's very talented... 
  • Interview:
You will ask the questions you want to ask him.


3rd stage:

DATE: November 11, 2016.

Writing.

You will write the routine of your interviewed in third person.
